The People Behind Dustin’s Place

Dustin’s Place is made up of a small staff, a committed Board and a volunteer community that shows up with steady care. Every role is different, though our mission is the same: making sure grieving kids and families don’t have to do this alone.

Our Staff

Our staff helps families get connected, guides programming and makes sure every group night and school group is a safe place to land.

The Heart of Dustin’s Place

Dustin’s Place relies on the time and care of our volunteers to support the children and families who come to our free grief support groups. Volunteers help facilitate group discussions, guide meaningful activities and crafts and create a safe, secure environment where families can share their grief honestly. Right now, we have 23 volunteers committed to group nights. Their consistency, compassion and passion for the grieving community are a big part of what makes Dustin’s Place the hope-filled place it is.
